Reuters ahead on Toys R Us IPO plans

Reuters was first with a story on May 27 that Toys R Us was about to file for an IPO. Toys R Us then filed overnight and the news was front page of all our rivals websites. Our first headline was at 7.16 pm. The New York Post published at 7:30 pm and the New York Times was next with a story that cited Reuters as being first. Bloomberg and the Wall Street Journal came in later.
