Reuters first with details of Intel’s antitrust settlement with FTC

Reuters clients were first to learn the details of Intel’s proposed settlement with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission on antitrust charges on July 19. The preliminary deal that the two sides reached will not cost Intel any money, but will require it to extend changes demanded under its November settlement with AMD, a source close to the agency told Reuters.
