Ahead with news of Royal Dutch Shell closure in Singapore

Reuters was first to report on April 9 that Royal Dutch Shell had shut down a major residual cracker at its Singapore Bukom refinery, part of its biggest refining complex worldwide and of particular importance to the oil market due to its role in delivering supply to the trading and pricing hub for Asian fuel. Reuters worked trade sources to get details of the closure, which contributed to a rise in the reforming margin to a 1-1/2 month high on the day. Bloomberg picked up the story, quoting Reuters, the following day.
