Vodacom shares see-saw as Reuters leads way on Congo dispute

Shares in South African mobile phone firm Vodacom headed lower on April 7 after Reuters reported that talks with its Congolese partner had failed to resolve a funding row threatening the future of their joint venture in the central African country. Vodacom shares slipped as much as 2 percent on the day before recouping some losses when Reuters - again, ahead of the pack - cited Vodacom’s intention to pursue its Congolese activities regardless.
