Pharming CEO flags fundraising plans in Reuters interview 05.19.2010 Reuters subscribers got an inside track on the funding plans of Dutch biotech firm Pharming on May 19 when its CEO revealed in an exclusive interview that a new financing could come before the end of June. Sijmen de Vries also said an equity issue was the most likely option. The company duly announced on May 27 that it had initiated a 12 million euros equity fundraising. Shares in Pharming, which had already risen in previous trading sessions on news of progress with its key experimental drug Rhucin, jumped a further 10 percent following confirmation of the financing plan. Pharming CEO flags fundraising plans in Reuters interview

Reuters subscribers got an inside track on the funding plans of Dutch biotech firm Pharming on May 19 when its CEO revealed in an exclusive interview that a new financing could come before the end of June. Sijmen de Vries also said an equity issue was the most likely option. The company duly announced on May 27 that it had initiated a 12 million euros equity fundraising. Shares in Pharming, which had already risen in previous trading sessions on news of progress with its key experimental drug Rhucin, jumped a further 10 percent following confirmation of the financing plan.
