Reuters examines threat of cash crunch for emerging companies06.11.2010
On June 11, Reuters provided clients with a forensic examination of debt and loan schedules and impending refinancing pressures for emerging market companies after a torrid six weeks in which access to capital markets was shut to all but the most creditworthy borrowers. Complete with boxes and tables on regional refinancing breakdowns, Reuters showed how emerging market new bond issuance fell to an 18 month low and how, although early-year capital raising had been impressive, bond markets needed to reopen soon to prevent another cash crunch. |
