Reuters first with details of Hurd harassment charge

Reuters was the first to detail the sexual harassment allegations made by a contractor against ex-HP CEO Mark Hurd, which led to his ouster from the technology giant. Jodie Fisher had claimed she lost contractor work for HP because she did not sleep with Hurd. The Aug 17 Reuters story also included fresh details on Hurd`s future plans, as well as new information on the critical role law firm Skadden Arps played in his departure. The AP reported the details of the harassment allegation an hour later, while WSJ matched them only two days later. Bloomberg was unseen
