Reuters interviews provide details of Morgan Stanley's Asia wealth management plan and Credit Suisse's China plan

Reuters was alone with an interview with Morgan Stanley’s Asia CEO Owen Thomas on Sept 22, finding out the investment bank plans to double its Asia headcount in wealth management over the next 3 years, including 100 advisers this year, as part of its plan to focus on the business. On the same day, Credit Suisse’s China chief executive Zhang Liping told Reuters the Swiss bank’s securities joint venture in the mainland had doubled its headcount in less than a year as it bets on a healthy pipeline of IPOs and M&As.
