Reuters provides a window into new iPad

Reuters broke news that the highly secretive Apple was gearing up for production of a smaller IPad with built-in cameras that could ship as early as next year. Shares of component maker Wintek jumped more than 5 percent the day the story came out, and lens maker Genius jumped more than 5 percent over the two trading days after the story was published. Both were cited in the story as suppliers to the new iPads. The story was also widely covered on the Internet in nearly every major publication, including the L.A. Times, Washington Post, USA Today and PC World. Dow Jones picked up the story, while Bloomberg picked up the story from cNet, which had used the Reuters story.
