Reuters has published a special investigative report on Japan’s “throwaway nuclear workers.” The story uncovers the secretive practice in Japan’s nuclear industry of hiring temporary workers –- the homeless, the duped and foreigners — to get around safety regulations limiting the daily radiation dosage workers can be exposed to.
