GM sinks after Reuters first on U.S autos task force hiring bankruptcy lawyer

General Motors shares fell as much as 15.4 percent in after hours trading on March 13 after Reuters broke news that U.S. President Barack Obama’s task force on the auto industry had hired an in-house bankruptcy lawyer to advise it on its options. Reuters had it 12 minutes ahead of Dow Jones. CNBC anchors immediately picked up the Reuters headlines, giving Reuters credit for the story on air. Bloomberg was about half an hour behind Reuters headlines.
