Reuters gets latest on Lloyds right issue

Reuters was first with news that Lloyds had not yet approached major investors over a big rights issue. The Sept. 2 story followed newspaper reports that City investors were prepared to back a potential 10 billion pound right issue by the UK bank. A couple of hours later, FT Alphaville backed the story, citing Reuters on its blog. Bloomberg and Citywire followed nearly two and half hours later, while Dow Jones was unsighted
