Reuters package shows little progress on corruption fight in Southeast Asia

A rich multimedia package of features, blog posts, tv slots and graphics explored the enduring challenge of corruption in Southeast Asia that blights business life and deters foreign investment. The package released on Dec 16 was inspired by the graft accusations against Thailand’s former prime minister Thaksin and the jailing on corruption charges of an ex-Indonesian bank chief. Stories included a piece on corruption busters’ efforts, an interview with a Transparency International chief and an analysis and charts from our political risk correspondent.
