Reuters has a clean sweep on North Sea oil benchmark loadings

Reuters was well ahead of other news agencies on Nov 9 with the first details of the December North Sea loading schedules for all four of the crudes that make up the North Sea benchmark BFOE. Competition to publish details of the loading schedules for Brent, Forties, Oseberg and Ekofisk is fierce. The crudes are heavily traded and even slight rises and falls in their loading volumes can move the North Sea benchmark. Overall, the data showed loading volumes would fall slightly in December to around 1.33 million barrels per day, helping bolster an oil market that has been well supplied over the last year as the global economic downturn has eroded demand for oil.
