Reuters got a scoop on Dec 14 that took competitors days to match when the head of the U.S. Missile Defense Agency disclosed plans to test the U.S. missile shield against a simulated Iranian strike in January. Time Magazine ran a piece ran three days later but still had to credit Reuters, quoting bits from our exclusive interview at a Reuters Aerospace and Defense Summit in Washington. Fox News, UPI and other competitors also scrambled to match the Reuters article, which was widely published on media and defense industry websites.
