Health Net jumps after Reuters alone with UnitedHealth deal talks

Reuters was alone on July 17 with the news that UnitedHealth, the largest U.S. insurer by market value, was in talks to buy the U.S. northeast operations of Health Net. Immediately after the story hit, Health Net`s stock hit an intraday high of $13.82, up more than 11 percent, before closing at $13.47, up 8.8 percent.
