Reuters scoops reveal China getting close to agreeing sanctions on Iran over nuclear issue

Reuters U.N. correspondents revealed on March 23 from diplomatic sources that Russia and China had quietly sent envoys to Iran to voice displeasure at Iran`s nuclear policies and urge it to accept a U.N.-backed atomic fuel plan. When Iran refused to budge China dropped its refusal to discuss a new round of sanctions against Tehran over its nuclear programme - and Reuters was first to report that as well, on March 24th after the Chinese told their Security Council partners they were ready to move ahead on measures against the Iranians. Reuters was the first and most comprehensive in bringing its energy and other market subscribers key news about one of the most important questions on their radar screens — how tough will the world agree to be on Iran.
