Reuters exclusively reports comments by UBS' McCann on strategy

Reuters was alone on April 4 with comments by UBS brokerage chief Robert McCann from an internal town hall meeting. Reuters clients learned McCann intends to cut back on real estate designed for 10,000 advisers when UBS Americas brokerage force has shrunk to 6,800. McCann also stressed he will not shrink to greatness` and was critical of his predecessor’s decision to sell dozens of branches to regional firm Stifel Financial. The story was unmatched by Dow Jones, the Wall Street Journal or Bloomberg.
